We performed “Bemen Sebab Letlash” with Mahmoud Ahmed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2008.  I often tell students that my smallest concert was for two people in a living room – which was terrifying – but the largest concert wasn’t scary at all.  That was this concert, at Glastonbury, for who knows how many tens of thousands in front of us, and simulcast on BBC Radio and Television. As you can see in the screen shot, I was playing the AlterEgo electric upright bass.  It is an awesome instrument, and I was blessed to be involved with them as an endorser at that time.
